For the Christmas season, Beachologie decided to sponsor one of the Ocean Pines Christmas trees on display in the White Horse Park! The easiest part was deciding on a theme—an art tree, obviously! As a nod to our name, Beachologie, we chose to use seashells painted by some of our students for the main ornaments. I absolutely love how these came out, and with such a variety in styles!
Any decent tree requires a garland, so we thought it would be fun to make a paintbrush garland. Patch and I had such a blast creating these by dipping and splattering!
Of course we needed other ornaments, so we filled clear ornaments with paint. I love how these came out; the colors blended beautifully!
For filler, we added paint brushes and watercolor palettes. I have to say, I was quite pleased with how it all came together!

The real fun was in decorating the tree! One of my students, Morgan, came and helped us. She's such a fabulous person, and amazing artist. As always, it was so much fun working with her!
The trees will be on display through the beginning of January. If you have time, stop by and check our Beachologie's tree! While you're there, don't forget to snag one of our studio vouchers for 20% off your first class!
